by Steven Lawton

A practical guide to building resilience, discipline, and a warrior mindset in the 21st century - by Steven Lawton.

ISBN 9798399281926

This book came out of one of the hardest periods of my life. Facing professional and personal setbacks, I needed a way to keep going - not just survive, but come back stronger. I developed a framework for doing exactly that, tested it in the real world, and wrote it down so anyone could use it.

The Everyday Warrior is the result. It is not a self-help book full of empty affirmations. It is a practical manual for building mental toughness, drawn from real experience.

What Is the Warrior Mindset?

The warrior mindset is not about aggression or conflict. It is a way of thinking rooted in discipline, resilience, and purposeful action. Throughout history, warriors - from the samurai to the Spartans to the Shaolin monks - cultivated inner strength as much as physical skill. They trained their minds to stay calm under pressure, to push through discomfort, and to keep moving forward when everything said stop.

That same mental framework applies today. Whether you are dealing with a career setback, a health challenge, or just the daily grind of modern life, the warrior mindset gives you tools to face it head-on.

About the Author

I am a father of three, martial artist, professional jouster, and software developer. My experiences - from the jousting arena to the tech industry - have taught me that resilience is not something you are born with. It is something you build, one day at a time. This book is how I learned to do it, and how you can too.
