Shield Blanks for Reenactors
Not everyone needs a fully finished shield. If you can paint, cover, and strap a shield yourself, a blank gets you a properly constructed core at a fraction of the finished price.
Every blank is built from laminated hardwood - the same construction used in our bespoke finished shields. The wood is shaped, profiled with the correct curvature for the period, and sanded smooth. You get a solid foundation to apply your own linen, leather, paint, and strapping.
Available Blanks
Heater Shield Blanks

Jousting Shield Blanks
Larger format with deeper curvature for mounted use. 9mm or 12mm for tournament-grade strength.
